Somen are a type of thin noodles made of wheat flour that are widely popular in East Asian countries including Japan. Somen noodles are typically eaten cold with a variety of toppings. Tenobe somen "Ibo no Ito" is made from carefully selected wheat and ako salt, and has been nurtured in a rich climate suitable for making somen noodles. It is a masterpiece of the Banshu region that has been painstakingly created by craftsmen while aging many times using the traditional hand-stretched manufacturing method that has been passed down for about 600 years.
